The Hi-Tech Training Room

The Hi-Tech Training Room is a multimedia learning environment designed to provide training in computer applications and in the use of electronic resources. The room accommodates hands-on training for a maximum of 27 participants and one instructor. The room is setup in an amphitheater-like arrangement with tiered rows of comfortable computer training stations.

The Skyline Room and the Skyline Terrace

The Skyline Room offers a skyline view of Cerritos overlooking the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts, while the interior atrium provides a dramatic view of the Library’s first two floors. The room can host events of 216 guests audience style or up to 136 guests for a sit-down banquet. The room can be divided into two separate spaces, each accommodating a different meeting. In addition, a platform is available for speakers and performers at one end of the room. The room’s audiovisual systems provide state-of the-art equipment. Both sections of the Skyline Room are equipped with hearing loops that transmit sound from the public address system to hearing aids when set to the "T" (telecoil) setting. In both sections, a ceiling-mounted projector can project images on a screen that can be lowered from the ceiling. Access to the outside Terrace offers a tranquil tree-top view of the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts and Cerritos Towne Center. An adjacent warming kitchen is also available for caterers.
