The Delvers Gem and Mineral Society Exhibition includes a variety of minerals and gems in their raw form, fossils and petrified wood found throughout the United States and worldwide. Also included are club members' pieces from their personal collections and tools used in their craft. Delvers Gem and Mineral Society has existed for nearly 73 years and promotes the earth sciences and the preservation of paleontological specimens and lapidary arts. On display through August 30.

This special collection was created to showcase books that are beautifully designed and produced, using both traditional and unusual techniques. The efforts of both student and professional contemporary book artists are included, and the scope is international. Individual works are on display throughout the Library on a rotating basis. |
